How we plan a move
Most of what makes a move go well is decided before the truck arrives: the two addresses, the stairs, the elevator reservation, the street and the gate. We start there, not with a rate card.
The schedule is built around your pick-up and delivery. PrimeRoute operates a 24-foot box truck with a liftgate, which lowers heavy pieces to the ground, so a refrigerator, a wardrobe or a dresser does not have to be lifted by hand.
Send both addresses and what is moving. You will get a straight answer about timing, access and whether the move suits a 24-foot truck.
How a move works
- Tell us the moveSend the two addresses, what is moving, and any stairs, elevators, gates or tight streets at either end.
- We plan the dayWe confirm access, the loading order and the timing, so nothing is left to be discovered on arrival.
- Moving dayWe arrive at the time we confirmed and start loading, using the liftgate where there is no dock or ramp.
- Loaded, driven, deliveredYour items go from your door to the new address, with the liftgate where there is no dock or ramp.
