Residential moving
Apartment moving, planned around the building
Elevator reservations, stairs, shared parking and building rules are the real work of an apartment move. We plan around them.
Ask the building first
Most apartment buildings have rules for moves: set hours, a reserved elevator window, a loading zone, sometimes a limit on truck size. Ask your property manager before you choose a date and send us what they say. We plan the load around the window you are given.
Stairs and walk-ups
In many Bay Area cities, especially San Francisco, Oakland and Berkeley, a large share of apartments are walk-ups. The number of flights and the width of the stairs shape how long the job takes, so we ask for them when we quote.
Parking at the curb
A 24-foot truck needs somewhere to stop. In dense neighborhoods that may mean reserving curb space or timing around street cleaning. Tell us the street and we plan the approach.
