FAQ

Moving questions, answered

Straight answers about how our moves work.

Questions we get asked

What do you move?
Homes, apartments, condos, single large items, offices, shops and warehouse inventory, within what a 24-foot box truck carries.
Where do you work?
Seventeen Bay Area cities, from San Francisco and Oakland to San Jose, Fremont and Walnut Creek. See the service area page for the full list.
What does the liftgate do?
It raises and lowers heavy items between the ground and the truck bed, so nothing has to be lifted by hand or walked up a ramp. It matters most where there is no dock.
What kind of truck do you use?
A 24-foot box truck with a liftgate. Tell us what is moving and we confirm it fits.
How do I get a quote?
Send both addresses, what is moving and any notes about stairs, elevators or access. You will get a straight answer about timing and how the move would run.
Can you move on short notice?
Call and we will tell you honestly what the schedule allows.
What should I do before moving day?
Ask your building or HOA about move-in hours, elevator reservations and where a truck may stop, then send us what they say.
Can you move one large item?
Yes. Single-item and furniture-only moves are part of the service.
Do you move offices and shops?
Yes. See commercial moving for office, retail and warehouse moves.
Do you need a photo of the stairs or hallway?
It is not required, but photos of the path make the answer faster.
What if my street is too narrow?
Tell us the address. We confirm access and discuss staging nearby if the truck cannot reach the door.
