Residential moving
Large-item moving in the Bay Area
Oversized furniture, appliances and bulky pieces, moved on a 24-foot truck with a liftgate that takes the weight off your back and your stairs.
What counts as large
Sectional sofas, wardrobes, dining tables, refrigerators, washers and dryers, desks, workout equipment and similar pieces. If it needs more than one person to move, it belongs here.
Why the liftgate matters
A liftgate lowers a heavy item to the ground and raises it back, so it does not have to be carried down a driveway or lifted by hand. For a washer, a refrigerator or a wardrobe, that is the difference between a controlled move and a risky one.
Where the liftgate helps most
Homes without a driveway ramp, apartment buildings with only street access, townhomes with stairs to the door, and any place a washer, a safe or a wardrobe would otherwise be lifted by hand. Where there is a dock or a ramp, we use that instead.
Tell us the size and the path
Send us the item and its approximate size, plus the path from where it sits to the truck: doors, hallways, turns, stairs. That path, more than the item itself, is what makes a large item hard.
